Mobilize Maternal Health Coalition (MMHC) unites over a dozen reproductive justice and maternal health organizations to address New York's ongoing maternal health crisis which disproportionately affects Black and Brown communities and other marginalized groups such as LGBTQIA+ parents. Our BIPOC-led coalition utilizes grassroots organizing, community outreach, and policy advocacy to improve reproductive healthcare options, reduce maternal mortality, infant mortality, and stillbirth rates, and increase access to midwifery and birth center care.

Your donation will directly support our advocacy efforts to change NY State laws, improving access to culturally responsive care while empowering communities of color with vital knowledge and resources to advocate for themselves during pregnancy and postpartum. Funds will sustain our community engagement events, public awareness campaigns, working groups, and policy initiatives—all aimed at ensuring that those most impacted by maternal health inequities have their voices heard and respected.

MMHC facilitates open meetings, working groups, and community listening sessions to gather input and ensure broad representation. Our participatory approach fosters community ownership and strengthens collective power—ensuring that the voices and experiences of those most impacted by maternal health inequities shape policies, advocacy strategies, and systemic solutions. $50 prepares complete set of materials and training for one MMHC advocate to meet with legislators	$100 provides round trip transportation for one MMHC advocate to the NYS Capitol in Albany	$500 provides training and materials for an entire team of MMHC advocates traveling to Albany
